Oaxaca just a dream

We left Oaxaca Sunday morning, taking the same shuttle on the same twisty mountain roads back to Huatulco. Mary really enjoyed the bus ride back to the boat.

Our plan? To head out across the sea 230 miles to our final destination this season, Marina Chiapas, really early Tuesday morning. A busy Monday would be in store.

We took laundry to the lavendaria. We provisioned at the Chedraui. Mary got busy prepping the boat. Dave ran to the Capitania to get our despachos. Our laundry was retrieved. We coordinated with a buddy boat for a 3AM departure. And we had a final dinner, which turned out to be the best pizza in Mexico so far.

3AM Tuesday morning in the marina was way too dark to safely leave. Sunrise was at 6AM. We had enough light and a couple extra hands on the dock, so we made our exit at 5:30. In 36 hours, we should be in Chiapas.
