In the morning, we pulled anchor in Carrizal and headed to Bahia Santiago in Manzanillo. We stayed in Bahia Santiago last year for some snorkeling and just relaxing. This trip we rowed to shore to catch a bus to the main drag to get some shopping done.
We were told the #1 or the #2 bus will get us to town for 9 pesos. We caught the #2. The #2 took us for a tour nowhere near our expected destination. After a half hour or so we abandoned #2. We caught a #6 back to shopping central. The #1 would have been better. Lots of busses. #1, #2, #6, #7, #7A, #12, and I think I saw a #14. I am sure there were more… We could have explored for days!

Our second day was relaxing. We got a nice snorkle in at the wreck of the San Luciano in Bahia Santigo. The water was fairly clear in the morning. Many fish. And one turtle.

We leave REALY EARLY Saturday morning on our +/- 30-hour trip to Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo. We have to leave before sunrise so we can arrive mid-day Satuday in our next destination. If you have nothing else to do, you can Watch Our Dot to see how we progress through the day and night and through the next morning. We’ll be further south than we’ve been before!
Down for dot watching!
