We are taking the slow route to Acapulco. We left the Ixtapa marina today and made it six miles to Zihuatanejo Bay. May seem like a short hop, but we did untie from the dock. Major accomplishment!

Tomorrow morning, we continue south 38 miles to a little anchorage called Playa Escondido south of Puerto Vincente. If the swell is right (non-existent), we’ll camp out for the night, then a very early start to Acapulco 75 miles down the coast. That will be at least ten hours and we like to arrive while the sun is still up.

Welcome to Zihuatanejo Bay. We are again officially further south than we’ve been before.
Looks fantastic!

Very jealous! When I grow up I want to be you two. The SF Bay will have to do for now. Great pics. Enjoy your trip downward.
