Hanging at Tenacatita

We left Barra de Navidad early on February 14 for a 14 mile transit to the ever popular Bahia Tenacatita. It’s probably our 5th or 6th time here. The lone restaurant on the beach was having a special chicken mole dish for the celebration. The Valentine’s Day dinner view was spectacular as always.

We’ll be here a few days before we start making our way south to Ixtapa & Zihuatanejo. Ixtapa may be the last longer term stop before we drop into Central America.

We tested the new anchor windlass installation a few times at the marina before we left Barra. Once at Tenacatita, the windlass worked well when dropping the anchor. Retrieval will be the bigger test!
