We are getting the boat ready for summer and for hurricanes or tropical storms. Getting ourselves ready to leave the boat and come back up north – let the couch surfing begin!
Not all work. We were told about a once-per-week restaurant in a private courtyard. Delicious. Salsa class offered before dinner. Still working on that three step. We met a group of ‘kids’ (paceños who invited us to join their Spanglish class this Tuesday.activities.
We have a few items left to take care of on the boat. Our project list is getting short despite our extracurricular activites. Today we dropped, cleaned and packed our main sail, and are removing, cleaning and drying our lines and other gear normally stowed on deck. We have to continue to prep the inside for our extended absence. Our goal is No Mold!
