Our New Land Home!

We bought a house!  Come visit us at our new house in Evans, Georgia.  We have been without a land home for the past three years.  Although we have enjoyed being houseless while on our sailing adventures, we always had plans to settle back on land.

We visited the Augusta area last year while we were camping across America on our summer vacation.  We really liked the opportunities for outdoor adventures, the access to conveniences, and the relative affordability of housing here.  It’s also very nice to be in civilization again.  Costco is just up the road apiece.

We are very excited!  The biggest problem we have is that we’ve been on a boat for three years, and all we have is an empty house!  No car, no furniture, no dishes or kitchen essentials, no towels, no tools, no lawn mower, no household accessories or sundries of any kind.  We are starting our new home from scratch.  Wish us luck getting a land life put together!

We still have a season or two of sailing left to accomplish.  The Caribbean awaits!  Plan to come sail with us, too.
