Shelter Bay and Boat Work

We are back in Shelter Bay.  Not all our time is going to be spent at the pool and the restaurant.  We have a long list of boat projects, guests coming down to visit, and preparations to make for our upcoming passage north.  Target:  USA!

Rusty sink drain hose clamps.  Whew.

The first big find?  Mary, the eagle eye, caught sight of a couple of hose clamps that needed to be replaced.  She’s always trying to keep our boat from sinking…

Waxing the boat is a big job. It took a couple of days and we only did the top of the boat, not the sides of the hull! We only work in the early morning when it is not too hot. I put on my cleaning music, Bob Seger’s Live Bullet and was motivated. I’m sure our neighbors enjoyed my singing as well as my air guitar. In between waxing of course.

Organizing and de-cluttering was another project on our list. We did well and now our guests will some place to sleep.
