Panamá Canal Transit Again!

We volunteered to be line handlers on a friends’ boat that was heading from the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific side.  And a nice boat it was – 45 ft Leopard catamaran.  Mary says we need to trade our little boat in for something more like this one…

We left Shelter Bay at 4AM to pick up the Canal pilot, and we headed for the Gatun Locks.  We rafted up with two other boats and headed on through to the Pacific.  It was a great 10-hour transit.

Enjoy the pictures and videos of our transit.
