This is a little bay that provides very little protection, but it’s the last and best stop before Punta Mala.
On our way to Benao, we were treated to occassional pods of flying dolphins. Sorry, no pictures. It’s just tough to have them jump out of the water when the photographer is at the ready. We also caught the edges of a couple squalls. The boat was thoroughly rinsed of salt and other debris.

We were surprised to find a very happening community here. It is a big surfing area with several restaurants, resorts, and a Trader Joe like grocery store. The tides are big here, so when it is low tide, the beach almost doubles in size. We enjoyed walking the beach and grounds of the resorts. Of course we stopped for breakfast on the beach, tropical pancakes!

Once e were back on the boat, we got everthing put away and ready for our overnight transit. Yes, a nap was on the list!
Glad you’re still enjoying the journey! Looks fantastic!
