Bahía Ballena, CR

We did a day transit, about 41 nm, from Sámara to Bahia Ballena. We like not sailing overnight. There’s to many things to bump into floating in the ocean. We are still trying to adjust our future transits so that we minimize overnight sailing.

Less stress. More Pura Vida.

On our way south as we approached Cabo Blanco, we passed one other sailboat that was northbound. They were registered from Norway so they were probably cruisers. That’s the most cruisers we’ve seen since leaving Marina Papagayo. We feel a little bit alone out here.

Just after we arrived in Ballena, another sailboat came into the bay. Maybe another cruier? It was Costa Rican registered so we think he does not quality.

So we have yet another jungle-lined quiet bay for us to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.
