St. George Island State Park, FL

Our last campout. Just a little sad that our time in the pop-up tent trailer is ending.

After getting the tent setup complete enough, we started with a quick run to the beach. It’s not quite as perfect as St. Andrews, but it will do just fine. The white quartz beaches of this part of the Gulf of Mexico are pretty nice!

Way back when, we went to Barking Sands beach in Kauai. Guess what! The sand barks even better here!

And the big surprise? Mary had a tick behind her knee…

We had three nights on St. George. No Walmart, no big grocery stores, no city lights, barely any internet. A good place to end our 2023 camping adventure.
