We went to Zihuatanejo to experience the 19th annual Guitarfest (amongst everything else Zihua has to offer). There were probably 25-30 different events to choose from over the week of the festival. Unfortunately for us, we booked flights back to the US and will miss many of the upcoming shows. Fortunately for us, we get to visit friends and family at home for a week.
We had reservations at the Kau Kan restaurant for one of the nightly ‘Gala Dinners.’ Two of the best guitarists were performing at our intimate little restaurant. It’s amazing how much access we had to so much talent for so few pesos…
