The Grand Circle tour in Iceland stops at several interesting locations. The first stop on our tour took us to the largest tomato producing greenhouses in Iceland. It was interesting how they utilized the geothermal resources of the area to heat, water, and electrical power the 19 greenhouses. They import fine Italian bumble bees to work their magic on the tomato flowers. And I thought Italy was just special for their wine and fine cured meats.

  1. Did Iceland in 2019 with Grand Circle’s other component Overseas Adventure Travel. Outstanding trip, especially with our Westman Islands add-on up front. Love your pictures. Enjoy that trip!!!
