Reno is not really the West coast, and our destination Charleston, WV is not really the East coast, but both are close enough.
We planned to drive from Reno to visit Mary’s sister in WV. Plans changed. Three days on the road were beginning to look less exciting especially with the recent surgery. Our gracious hosts allowed us a few more days in Reno. Then we boarded a very early plane to Chicago to catch an overnight train to WV.
Planes are much faster than cars or trains when you want to get somewhere. Fast.
