We stayed one night in Riverside on our way to San Diego. Very glad that stop is now a memory.
We took the Metrolink from Riverside to Oceanside to meet up with our Bonsall friends. And to acquire a supply of cronuts. And have lunch. And a beer. Metrolink was packed full of people and toys headed to San Simeon beaches. Glad we got on early – standing room only for most of the rest of the passengers.
Our stay with friends was great. They have a beautiful house and awesome territorial views. We even watched polo people and ponies from high above.
Our nephew, niece and great nephew drove down from Palmdale to spend some time with us. We had a great time playing with the little one. Frozen tag was the best. Then again building a fort was pretty fun too. Great food is always a must!
A day of wineries was followed by a day of breweries, and great food in between all of them. And the evenings were filled with Euchre – 2022 style – all online around a table. The women’s team were very gracious winners!
And all over too soon. An early morning shuttle and we were off to CBX!
