We had a rough patch heading north from Chamala. The day started out great, sunny light breeze on the nose so no sailing but no big seas either. That is until later in the day. We were just off Ipala bay and we thought we could get to La Cruz in about 5 hours. The wind was building as were the seas and we both looked at each other and said why are we beating ourselves up out here. Let’s go into the bay and get a good night’s rest. It was a bit rolly but we still got some needed rest. We are learning!
