We finally got our new dinghy. We decided on a Takacat ( https://www.takacatamericas.com/ ) inflatable. It is a catamaran type boat. That means there are 2 tubes on either side that touch the water. The floor of the boat does not so it is more efficient in the water.
We put her in the water and hung our 6hp Propane motor on her. The motor started right up, but… (you knew that was coming) it didn’t go into gear. Another project for another day.
