Getting Ready to Sail

The last item on our to-do list was to repair our backyard fence before we left.  Dave was a maniac using the new farm jack to remove the old fence posts. Mary learned how to set a fence post, hammer, level the pickets, and hammer them in. Patty joined us again for this fun.

On the morning of our departure, we added another to-do to the list.  We had a huge pile of tree debris waiting impatiently for the FEMA truck to collect and haul away.  We could not leave to go sailing with a pile of dead tree in the front yard, so we hauled it to the dump.  FEMA hurricane clean-up missed out…
