We planned to be in Brunswick for a month. While here, we are planning to fix, replace, or just perform maintenance of some equipment. There are many little items on the list. Some big ones are below.
First up, our chartplotters are no longer supported by Raymarine, too old, and we were also having some operating issues. We purchased a couple of new chartplotters. We are doing the complete installation. Unfortunately, it is not plug and play.

Next on the list is the dodger. Our windscreen has accumulated lots of damage. Zippers are busted, and the windscreen has many cracks. Definitely a “must do.” No work on our part. Just hand over the credit card and wait…
We are also getting a minor overhaul of our engine. 3000 hours is still pretty young for our diesel. They usually last 10,000 hours or so. The overhaul should keep us trucking!
We are adding more solar capacity. We will be adding a new panel to increase our charging capacity. Our current three-panel setup worked while we were in sunny Mexico, but as we traveled south and east, we noticed that our production was a little lower, not quite as much sunshine. We also have a couple of electric appliances that we’d like to feel more comfortable using. Solar panel delivered by Amazon, busted.

And then there was the little boat crash in St. Augustine. Got to see about fixing that.
Mary is in charge of keeping the wood varnished (with Cetol) and pretty. Thank goodness we don’t have much wood. She needs several days in a row without scorching sun or rain and nothing else to do. So far, it is prepped ready for the Cetol.

Life is good.
Looking good for getting stuff done. Bummer about the solar panel.
