This was a short 18-mile motorsail for Cerca Trova and YO-D-YO. There were only a couple of bridges to pass under, and after the Wabasso experience, to pass under very slowly.
We wanted to be a little closer to Cape Canaveral as there was a SpaceX Starlink launch scheduled for that night. As a bonus, there was a free dock in Cocoa Village if space was available. And space for both our boats was!

We spent the day exploring the small village. It was quite charming. Dave’s favorite store was Travis Hardware – the best hardware store ever! They had a section for everything spread out over an acre or so of occasional two-story buildings. We used a guide to help show us what was hidden around the store. We went back to the boat to put together our shopping list for our 7AM return the next morning.

We enjoyed other offerings in Cocoa. The food was great. We had pizza and salad the first night, and since we had salad, we decided we should balance it with a Reeses pie for dessert. As we wandered the small village, we found a french bakery. What to have for breakfast the next morning was decided.

Looks like it was a great time.
