We left Playa Azul Sunday right after breakfast. It was raining, again. It seems to rain a lot in Panamá, and it’s the ‘dry’ season. By the time we set anchor near the marina, we were wet. The office is closed on Sunday, so we had to camp out for one night. It was a beautiful, calm anchorage nestled between mangrove islands.
I finally get why they called this place Red Frog. It’s because of the famous tiny poisonous amphibians. We went on a short trail hike after a rain shower… These are pictures of some of the frogs we saw!

Red Frog Marina is partnered with Red Frog Resort, so we had full access to the resort amenities, including beaches, restaurants, and swimming pools. It’s really nice. And day one at Red Frog was sunny. All day!

We’ll be here for a few days.
Looks fantastic!
