Mary’s Reflection

When we started this crazy sailing adventure, we said we would go under the Golden Gate Bridge, turn left, wait until the butter melts, then turn left again. Well, the butter is melting. Tomorrow, January 9, 2024, we make our 2nd big left hand turn and take our little YO-D-YO through the Panama Canal. I can hardly believe we are actually going to do it.

We will leave behind the Pacific Coast of North America and begin to explore the east side of North America and the Caribbean. It has been a journey filled with wonderful people, beautiful sites, and of coures personal struggles and growth. Mexico was scary for me at first, now I am remembering the great times we had there.

I am excited, to see what lies ahead. We are not done yet.
