We made it to Charlevoix, Michigan on the 4th of July. Charlevoix is Mary’s hometown and it is beautiful. Of course one of our main reasons for our visit was to spend time with Mary’s mom. Durring our stay there Mary’s friends Nan and Nena came to visit. Dave and Mary’s sister Patty were on their own while Mary had some girlfriend time.
We had a great Hipcamp campsite for the first part of our stay. After that, Dave and Patty had several days at Fisherman’s Island State Park. Some of the highlights were swimming in Lake Michigan, hunting for Petoskey stones, and visiting with family and friends.

Hey, Mary and Dave, LOVE keeping up with you two! The pics are out of this world! We’ve never been to Michigan, but it looks devine….maybe we’ll try a road trip next late summer! LOL, Sheryl & Paul
