Bahia Tenacatita

We were here last year for a couple of weeks before we went further south, then stopped again on our way back north. It is a very calm bay that can easily hold a lot of boats. There were about 30 boats already here when we anchored, and four or five more boats came in after us during the day. It’s a very popular anchorage.

There is a beautiful beach for walking, a calm surf to land the dinghy or paddle boards, a restaurant, and a campground. There is also a river you can take your dinghy up through the mangroves and come out on another beach with more restaurants.

More of our friends are here already at anchor. There are several Panama Posse boats here as well.

Never enough sunset pictures!
