After we explored Tlaquepaque, we explored Guadalajara. Guadalajara is a beautiful city with beautiful churches and delicious inexpensive food. We even found some local breweries.
We found a great website that listed the top 21 things to see in Guadalajara. We saw all that we could.

One of our favorite restaurants was El Gato Cafe. It was hard to see from the street since the door was very skinny. We split a dinner as we often do and ended up with a delicious meal that included seven shrimp each. I had a glass of wine, Dave had a milk shake and the total bill came to $12 US. Nice!

We also visited the almost pre-historic site of Guachimontones – the earliest pyramids I’m Latin America. It deserves it’s own post.
The churches are insane. The masonry alone is stunning. Great pics. Keep em coming!

They are amazing. Some are so extravagant and others so simple in their beauty.
