Leaving Ensenada

We are on our way down the Baja coast.  This first leg will be the longest,  about 48 hours to our first anchorage TurtleBay.   We were at the fuel dock just before they opened and fueled up.  Then left the marina at 0830. That’s 8:30 am for the non military.

As you know we put off leaving due to too much wind forecasted. Well, we are out here in flat seas and very light winds. Yes too light to sail. So we have the hum of the motor, our buddy boat Star Passage, and lots of sunshine  to keep us company.

Nicole is great. She is eager to learn and very smart. Dave is getting his teaching hat on and refreshing us on chart ploting. We are all becoming closer friends.  We are looking forward to meeting with her boyfriend Kelsey in San Jose Del Cabo.
