July 4th, we left San Francisco at 11:00am. We are really doing it. We left with 20 knots of wind on the nose. Which means it was coming straight at us and not good for sailing. So we motored and as soon as we turned left (headed south) the wind was at a perfect angle to sail.
As we passed Passifica we saw whales spouting in the distance saying hello.
We landed in Pillar Point Harbor, which is near Half Moon Bay. Had a great dinner in town and a good night sleep. It was a great day.
Last sunset in Richmond Leaving our slip I can do this! San Francisco Skyline Goodbye San Francisco Captain Dave End of the day. Made it to Pillar Point Harbor
So happy for you both and love that you left on Independence day!!
