After we left St. Mary’s, we headed to Cumberland Island again. This time the weather cooperated. We went to shore and enjoyed a 4 mile hike. Part of the hike was in the woods, hiding armadillos, and bobcats. Part was in a marsh with a ton of birds, and part was stretch of beautiful beach. We explored for several days.

Dungeness Mansion was an estate built in the early 1800s. It was purchased in 1880 by Thomas and Andrew Carnegie. It was ruined by fire in 1959.
The last picture reminded me of the horses in your neighborhood. Love youRobyn
